First snow of the season.  IN OCTOBER!

Great recycled art on display at Children's Hospital.  I went with Andy the other night when he donated blood.  Great art!

Retirement beer freshly brewed.  Hopefully we'll get a chance to sip it soon!

294/365

Jack Pease enjoying ice cream.  It was their last night in Boston.  Now they are off to Cincinnati.  We'll miss you guys!

293/365

The GIANT mum I bought (not realizing that it would take up so much space on the porch)!

292/365

Pretty sky over Harvard Square.

Beautiful sky the day of the Head of the Charles.

On a walk at home Jennie and I stumbled across this "turkey".  Clever

All of the pumpkins getting loaded into our gym for the Pumpkin Fair at my school.  It took the kids 45 minutes to unload them!  Great tradition!

Broccoli and squash from the kids' garden.

Andy and I were out for a walk to run some errands and we stumbled across this City Sprouts garden.  All grown and maintained by kids at a Cambridge Elementary School

They all finished!

Runners in action!

Mr. Schrumm, Mom, Dad, and I walked down to mile 8 to see the kids go by.  On our walk I noticed this crazy mailbox with all kinds of lichens on it!

Big smiles from Becca at mile 1!

Jennie and Andy off to a great start!

Of course we had to visit the gift shop on our way out.  I discovered these hilarious alien glasses!

273/365

Datenight at the Planetarium!

Andy and I went on a date last night.  (I think this may have been our 3rd or 4th official "date" in all of our relationship!)  We went to check out the planetarium at the Museum of Science.  The Museum is a pretty special place for us since it is where we got married.  We had hoped to have our ceremony in the planetarium, but at the time they didn't do weddings there.  I think they might now... but not sure.  Another reason the planetarium itself is special is because it is newly redesigned... thanks to LDa Architects.  Andy didn't get to work on the project unfortunately, but he did get to tour it during construction!

The show was great.  If anyone out there reading this blog ever gets the chance to go to the MOS, visit the planetarium!

272/365

Mr. Schrumm's best working shoes!  He insisted that I take the photo with his foot dangling so that we could get the duct tape "flapping"!  Karla's dad has a pair of boots that look quite like this.  He calls them his "new boots".  We need these two guys to meet one day!  Too bad they are in CT and AK!

271/365

Mom's special birthday dessert!

270/365

Happy 65th Birthday Mom!

We had a delightful dinner at the Wequasset Inn in Chatham, MA.  Fancy!  Fancy!

Michael Joseph Kenney
Born September 25, 2011

I got to visit wee Michael when he was only a few days old!  Bridget and Bill are doing great.  Michael is actually cute!  (You all know how I don't like newborns!)  He has chubby little cheeks... but he's tiny. Bridget says I should call him "Wee Wee Michael" because he had a little "accident" on me.  Well, I'm sure it won't be the last time I get peed on in the next year or so!  Hooray for Wee Michael!
